Rainforest Cafe - Niagara Falls

Worst ever dinner and experience ever. Horrible service, dirty restaurant and washrooms, meals were horrible and we're not what they said they were in the menu, wrong items came out to the table with our food, bun to hard to even eat, waitress left dirty dishes on our table, we didn't have any utensils and when we asked for some we got 4 forks and 2 knives for the four of us, waitress spilled drink all over our table, when we talked to the waitress about the horrible food she really didn't care and answered with year they aren't that great and said she would talk to the kitchen staff and we had to say for her to mention it to the manager. The bill came and she had not told the manager so we had to ask to talk to him and his reply was "yeah we have had multiple complaints about that's'. Maybe that's a hint to change things. I didn't even want to rate one star but it wouldn't let me rate no stars.

We took our 2 granddaughters on a summer camping trip to Niagara Falls. After visiting a few of the attractions (ie) museum, the Falls, and Journey behind the Falls tour, we chose to dine at the Rainforest Cafe. Overall, the food was good for the kids, but we found it to be quite costly for the 2 of us. It was an experience that I'm sure our grandchildren will not soon forget though - they thoroughly enjoyed the animal noises and movements. Our bill for 2 adults & 2 children was roughly $115.00 Cdn.

All 4 of us had steak that was excellent. The bread was very good. We had whiskey sours that were excellent. The cream brûlée was delicious for dessert. Great time for all of us! Excellent views!

We ate there for supper on August 21, 2017. Service was very prompt. Server was very diligent. Atmosphere was similar to Disney Springs. However, food was not as good, ok at best for adult meals. Menu more limited. My 9 year old ordered the kids pizza combo. The pizza was disgusting. Tasted like tin sauce slapped on a cardboard crust with soggy cheese. He ended up having to eat just fries for supper. We will not eat there again. For the prices paid, we could have eaten at the Keg and had a decent meal. For the record, we've eaten at Rainforest Cafe in Orlando several times and were completely satisfied with our meals and the experience. This location does not compare. I would recommend eating elsewhere in Niagara Falls and wait until you visit the US to eat at this chain. ( FYI - we are from Canada)

I ways enjoy the rainforest cafe and thought itnwould be a fun dinner for my kids. We had a good time, the food was delicious and our server was really nice. It's pricey but you pay for the name. Just remember to ask your wait staff to remove the tourist tax from your bill. It's not a mandatory charge, but it won't be removed unless you request it. Sneaky sneaky!
