Garrisons Grill - Niagara Falls

Stay away from this restaurant at all costs. My husband and I waited over 20 minutes for our order, only to discover that his hot sub had been sitting on the customer counter for 10 minutes before mine was even made. To make matters worse, the counter girl was openly mocking a customer who had complained about their order. When we finally got home and I bit into my sub, I immediately tasted rot due to the lettuce I had specifically asked to be left off. The overwhelming smell matched the taste, and it was clear that the food had been left out for far too long. If you enjoy waiting for food that smells and tastes rotten, then this is the place for you. The unprofessional staff and rude behavior did provide some entertainment, but overall, this was a terrible dining experience.

I ordered a steak sub with pepperoni and Garrison fries on Friday. The steak sub had very little meat and the pepperoni was mostly burnt. There was also not enough meat sauce for the fries. This was the worst meal I have ever had at this restaurant. I found out that the rookie crew was working and they messed up a couple of my friends' orders as well. To the owner, please do not have inexperienced staff working on a busy Friday night. Train them on slower days like Tuesdays. I will not be returning after this horrendous experience.

The steak sandwich was terrible. The beef was thinly sliced and cooked on a surface covered in burnt seasonings, which transferred onto the sandwich. The service was slow and lazy, the sandwich was poorly made, and the sauce was unappetizing. Save your money and never return to this restaurant.

Based on the reviews I thought I would give this place a try . Got the Gyro as it seemed like the popular choice . I can honestly say it was not “the best gyro I’ve ever had “ . In fact it was close to the opposite . The meat was dry and hard which really ruined it . Friend had the roast beef sub which they said was good would have been great they said with more toppings .

My husband and I are regular customers at Garrisons Grill. We always order our special which is a deluxe steak and cheese and a small poutine. Yesterday's order had a different bun which wasn't bad but smaller which meant less ingredients went in it. The saltiness inside it was overpowering, hard to swallow. The poutine was much smaller and a different cheese on it. Quantity has gone way down along with the quality I hate to say. Needless to say, my husband spent the better half of the evening in the bathroom. I think we will be looking for a good steak and cheese elsewhere.
