China Express - Niagara Falls

I got food from this tiny little place for the first time a week ago. I got the food. The price was correct, the portions were large, the taste was also great. I would recommend this restaurant for people visiting our town...Niagara Falls. I've lived here for three years and now I'm sorry I didn't try this place earlier.

Worst place. He gave up our order and gave us baked chicken when we ordered spare ribs. Kept hang on us and refuse to fix the problem even after we got into the store. Bad customer service ever. Food is not even good. I had to waste our time and money to fix the problem. We're still charging for the replacement. The worst Chinese food.

So the food is meh, but I have a few complaints that have decided that this is not the place for me. First of the baked scallops that I had ordered were basically all dough with only a small piece of scallop in the middle, maybe also... with simple deep roasted dough balls that I could not eat, also I ordered the canton chow mien with sauchwan sauce, which had any hosewan sauce on her almond, which was disappointing then the last complaint I ordered the house If you want cheap consistent Chinese, I would recommend China Dragon in Chippawa, Lees in Niagara Falls or Mandarin. Do not know how this place got such rave reviews. Cost-effective mediocre food, diligent chicken balls and scallops (if you want to call it), missing ingredients and stuff in food that should not be there. Not satisfied

The first time we tried the food from China Express. The food was great. Much of it and very hot. They had sold egg rolls, gave my mother the choice of a spring roll or chicken ball (that was the meat in their combo... plate). I asked if I had an additional shrimp as the meat was in my combo, and they said yes. The shrimps were huge, but I must say there was a thick dough on them. They were still very moist, not dried. Neither my mother nor I could finish the meal. There's almost enough left for another meal. Will definitely get food from there again. I wish we knew it earlier. It's only a disadvantage that it's just going out. You take credit cards. Extensive menu, many combo plates for one for under $9.00.

On our last night in Niagara Falls, we decided to just eat in the hotel room and relax. It is a short (less than 15 min) walk from the Embassy Suites, Falls View. We ordered ahead by phone and it was ready right when we...walked up. It was a nice way to stretch my legs. The food was about average for the price paid. Rice and spring/egg rolls are not included with the dishes, so if you want them, remember to order them. We went with three separate entrees, as opposed to the, Dinner for Four combos. They were a little light on flavor, but were acceptable. We had the Shrimp Cashew Nuts, Shrimp Mixed Vegetables and Chicken Cashew Nuts. The cashew nuts they used were salted (really salted). If I were close by, I might order from them again. The value was acceptable for the price paid.
