Phat Pattie The Burger Shop

After a work meeting in town I was looking for somewhere that offered gluten free options for lunch and Phat Pattie was there to help. Great range of burger options, all of which can be gluten free and the staff were super friendly. Great little outdoor setting and plenty of free parking. The picture doesn't do the burger justice, it was delicious. Freshly made and nice ingredients and the chips were perfectly salted. A great find and will be back again.

I was recommended this place from a FB freedom camping group. I’m from Auckland so decided to come down and give this place a try Everything was on point even the day and the view and the peace was a whole vibe! Really good! The burger was bomb the bun was done right and the patty was juicy! The right amount of filling so it’s not sliding out the side while you eat it. The chips were perfectly cooked If I was a local I would come here every week to try out a different burger because they all sound appetising!l and they’re decently priced! Next time I’m here, I’m bringing someone with me so I have someone to enjoy this place with

Food was amazing, service was better. They were very accommodating to my 2 year old daughter talking to her and keeping her engaged. Will definitely recommend it and will be back again

I absolutely love Phat Pattie! They serve some of the most delicious burgers around—juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. The customer service is top-notch, making it an easy choice for a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. The brioche bun that accompanies the burger elevates the entire experience to something truly memorable. Enjoying a cold, fizzy drink from a can really complements the flavors of the meal. The staff goes above and beyond, even bringing your food to your car while you wait for your order. If I were a gym enthusiast and could afford it, I’d eat at Phat Pattie every day. Once again, I give it a solid 5 out of 5!

I was recommended this restaurant by a Freedom Camping Facebook group. I traveled down from Auckland to give it a try, and I have to say, everything was spot on! The bread was perfectly baked, the patty was juicy, and the chips were cooked to perfection. The filling was just right—nothing was sliding out as I was trying to eat. If I lived nearby, this would definitely be my weekly indulgence. I wish I could sample all the burgers; they all sound delicious! If I return, I’ll be bringing someone along to enjoy it with me.
