Millisle Beach And Car Park With Public Toilets

The water is clear and pleasant for a winter swim, but there is quite a bit of seaweed on the shore that the local council should take care of.

The beach is fantastic, featuring a large parking area and clean public restrooms conveniently located nearby.

I visited to recall my memories of staying in the caravan park across the street back in the '60s, but everything has changed, and the garage that used to be there is now gone. The main parking lot is in dire need of resurfacing, with potholes scattered throughout. On the bright side, the restrooms were very clean. As we were leaving, we noticed an entrance to a nearby beach park, which appeared to be much more accessible.

The location is wonderful. It was quiet and calm, and even though there wasn’t much sunlight, it didn’t stop the kids from enjoying the water. After they built some sandcastles and had fun at the park, we had a barbecue. There were plenty of trash bins available, and we even discovered a great food truck for coffee and ice cream—just a tip, it's cash only. Overall, it’s a beautiful beach and area, and I definitely intend to come back.

A simple way to enjoy your meal is to grab two plates, knives, and forks, get some takeout or bring food from home, and then sit down to savor the breathtaking views while you eat. The atmosphere is charming and adds to a fantastic dining experience!
