The Royal Thai - Newtownabbey

I was on the hunt for a Chinese restaurant that served crispy chicken satay like the one I loved at Wing Wah in Bangor a year ago. I found it at Royal Thai, and it was delicious! A big thanks to Kelly for her friendly service and for recommending other menu items. The drive from Belfast was definitely worth it, and I will be back!

I've been a fan of this restaurant for many years, both when I lived nearby and after I moved away. The food is some of the best in the country. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are excellent—it's definitely my favorite spot in Northern Ireland, without a doubt.

The best honey chili chicken and curry you can find! Have they been out of Royal Thai for years? I'm glad I've been getting closer to the other locations so I can enjoy their food more often.
