The County Seat - Newton

The salad was tasty, but it lacked sophistication, the butter salad had bad spots that should be sorted out and the leaves should have broken more bites. The Jambalaya was above the top, with many fantastic seafood.

I really enjoy seeing what is new on the menu and try the options. Roger and his team are very friendly and take care of you. With the exception of the wings, my tastes are quirky, every dish I have tried so far is exceptionally prepared, taste great and well presented. Roger is proud to do his job in the kitchen and you see that he is passionate about what he does.

We stopped today for the first time when we heard great things. We were not convicted. Wow. Doesn't look so much outside, but the whole presentation is in the food. Michelle took care of us and was fantastic. Crab cakes were OK and the Cesar Salat Dressing was not great. However, the gargonzola bruschetta and med platter was amazing. Salmon cooks perfectly. We will surely be back!!! Follow until 11/25/16. Have 2 parties supervised this year and will make our Christmas celebration. Come on. Great service and food always. Owners are wonderful.

After many years we finally made the journey from Hackettstown to Newton's County Seat, why have we waited so long? Do not let the Ragtag out you stand, inside is a warm and welcoming friendly pub with exceptional food. The wooden deco passes through the bar area into two dining rooms. If you get the menu in your hands, you cannot believe the fullness of the elections. It's really hard to choose. So we tried everything, the Bruschetta was the best I ever had. The seafood Ceviche is another favorite. Each appetizer had a diving sauce that was good for the last swallow. Potato wrapper Shrimp, Fried Calamari with a honey sauce. I'll have pictures for them. The County Seat has the best food in NJ. If you weren't there, try to make sure you're not disappointed.

The food at County Seat rivals some of the best NYC restaurants really! Chef Roger constantly creates unusual but incredibly tasty meals apps. Best burgers wings too! Sure to please any tastes best find in the area
