Shaking Crab (newton)

A Hidden Gem/treasure if you will. A small edifice but family oriented, kind and friendly atmosphere. I went for the first time and was greeted by Alice who was absolutely Amazing from beginning to end. I went for the seafood boil with Alaskan crab, lobster tails in garlic butter sauce. I highly recommend this place to anyone worth the drive and money. The drinks to boot REALLY TASTY! I enjoyed while I was there Mango Mojitos! I recommend as well you definitely have an excellent dining experience!I will definitely Be BACK!! Alice thank you for all your help and being extra attentive! This is my favorite seafood place. It’s awesome. It feels like a secret hideaway. Small, clean with top notch food, service and drinks. Enjoy!

I went to Shaking crab for the very first time on Tuesday, it was my best friend birthday, and I can only say It was beyond my expectations, drinks and food Omg 100/10. We enjoyed our visit and definitely I'll be back soon.

The snow crabs were pre-frozen so the meat was a bit dry after boiling. Everything else is great.

The food was good, but I honestly could not get around the concept of food served in a plastic bag. In all my years eating at food dives including many crawfish and shrimp boils down south I have never been served in a plastic bag. Mentally could not overcome that. There are plenty of disposable options that are not plastic, including butcher paper to cover tables.
