Charli's Cafe - Newport

The café owner is unfriendly, the establishment is unclean and outdated, the menu has remained the same for a decade, and the coffee is of poor quality.

This café is located in a quiet side street. They do both old-fashioned standard Australian cafe foods such as FnC, Steak Sangers etc., and also Korean food. I had the former steak sandwich. It was good, I had worse. Probably better for...Brekkie, they seem to have a lot of eggshells.

We are locals and this is our favorite bakery place! Great value for money and good service and especially good quality breakfast. Recommended!

Being a local to this area This place is our way to breakfast and lunch.. outdoor seats (under parasols and inside).. For lunch The fish chips are amazing or the Korean burger. Much to choose. My friends recently moved to Newport, so finding a great spot for brunch was a priority. We easily discovered Charli's (although it is located in NSW, not Victoria). We sat outside and found the staff to be friendly and eager to make sure everything was perfect. The restaurant has two sections, with the other side serving Korean food, which we plan to try on our next visit.
