Stereoscope Coffee - Newport Beach

This is my favorite coffee shop in Orange County. The coffee is great and the staff is always friendly. There is a lot of outdoor seating, shuffleboard in the lobby, and even a bicycle rack and repair station at the entrance. I hope this place continues to thrive so I can visit on weekends.

I have been to many coffee shops, but I have to say that this one is my absolute favorite! The quality of the espresso here is amazing and their matcha is the best I have had in the USA (definitely splurge on the ceremonial matcha drinks! I always get mine sweetened with vanilla). The drinks are perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The baked goods are delicious and flavorful, but make sure to come early because they sell out quickly! The atmosphere is comfortable and modern, making it a great place to sit outside and work or chat with friends. They also offer parking in the garage for 2 hours.

All good reviews lead me to higher expectations. I ordered a little latte. the wait was short and service friendly. but the latte itself was not good. it was really hot and tasted mainly milk without espresso. it didn't have the rich taste I want in a latte. it was a tad price for a small latte imo 5.25? . the shop itself is beautiful with many seats in the open. parking was a little strange. I only saw a few curbside spots in a loading zone (some were even parked in a fire lane). there is a structure close to, but I am not sure whether it was free or only for the business center employees. So, just one head up when they only visit the caffe, as I was.

Ordered a pour over costa rica it was smooth and perfectly brewed. also had their speck and chorizo meatcake (warmed up) which was delicious! the personal is friendly and the room is innovatiw equipped with a 3-D-D-d-dentifier with 3-D-glasses to enjoy it. would be a great place to work remotely!

I had a choice between two cafes that fit my interests, and I chose Stereoscope Coffee because of the mention of salmon toast. It did not disappoint. A side bonus was the oat milk Madagascar vanilla iced latte. Yummmm
