Sol Grill - Newport Beach

Friday night date night, my wife and I settled on Sol. We had little problem getting a reservation for the 7:30pm time slot and we were seated within 5 minutes. The restaurant was buzzing, great ambiance and subtle, not overwhelming, live music. We were greeted by our server almost immediately upon being seated with table water, chips salsa minutes after. Beers, first course and then gourmet tacos later (just a tad over $100 for the lot) we were well satisfied. Our server was fantastic, and I apologize for not remembering her name, polite, attentive and super responsive. And the food was excellent. Cannot recommend this location highly enough.

I love Sol Grill and Misty!! Her love of food and bringing our community together is evident in the overall vibe of her restaurant. The food is consistently good, the ambiance is always welcoming and you feel like you’re eating dinner at a friend’s house. We have networking meetings and dinners here and she’s always accommodating and makes it easy for lots of people to gather. Visit Sol Grill when in town and feel like a true local. Food is always delicious and the service is the best! We are always greeted with a warm welcome. We love watching the sunset from the patio over the buildings.

Went last month and sat in a bad area. No air circulation. Posted a not so good review. To their credit they offered to make it right. Food was great
