Roy's - Newport Beach

Roys is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. The Musyaki butterfish just melts in your mouth, and the chocolate souffle is the best I've had, even better than those at Dolce or Morton's Steakhouse. Don’t forget to order some appetizers; I highly recommend the lobster dumplings and ahi poketini. If you’re looking for a place that has a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere, along with outstanding service and delicious food, Roys is the perfect choice.

The service was outstanding, and the ambiance was truly fantastic. I was so engrossed in conversation with my date that I didn’t even notice that my appetizer was 40 minutes late. A floor manager came over to apologize for the delay and offered to comp the appetizer, which I appreciated. I prefer when staff take the initiative to address issues without me having to remind them about forgotten orders or long wait times. Other than that, the overall experience was wonderful.
