Round Table Pizza - Newport Beach

I'm not sure what went wrong with Round Table this time, as they usually deliver great food! On Thursday, November 3, 2022, I ordered a personal pan pizza along with three Garlic Twists. Unfortunately, when I received my order, both the pizza and the twists were cold and extremely difficult to chew. I have gum disease, which made it even more challenging—it really hurt to eat! The pizza appeared to have been overcooked and looked like it had been frozen and just reheated. Such a letdown! On a brighter note, the customer service was decent; the staff was friendly and polite.

Round Table Pizza has always been my favorite childhood pizza restaurant. I grew up in the Bay Area, later moved to the East Coast, and then to Texas, but I never forgot how amazing Round Table Pizza is. While visiting for work, I stumbled upon this location and couldn't resist stopping in after more than 20 years since my last slice. I'm happy to report that Round Table still delivers! The zesty sauce, crispy crust, perfectly melted cheese, and nice thin pepperonis come together to create a perfect bite. I just learned that there's a Round Table back home, and I can't wait to bring my family there. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere and service were incredibly welcoming and warm.

I usually don’t write reviews, but we had such a fantastic experience this evening that I felt compelled to share. All of our pizzas were excellent, with perfect crusts and generous toppings—truly delicious! This has been my favorite pizza since 1995, and it remains a top choice for me. Thank you for maintaining such consistent quality! I ordered online and opted for pick-up, and they brought the food directly to my car. The service was so kind and welcoming, in addition to the amazing pizza!

I believe in second chances?I?d eaten here a few years back and swore I?d avoid it at all cost and drive the extra to the Costa Mesa location. Due to its convenient location I thought I?d try it again to see if the service had changed. I was surprised anddelighted that it HAD! Twice now I?ve ordered and it?s been correct and even ready slightly early and no hassles? pizza wasexactly as ordered?and friendly crew. I?ll be back.

What can I say, it?s easy to mess up pizza, but harder to make it great. Well that?s what this family owned round table did, make a great round table pizza. Each company or restaurant has their taste and well this one has it down to the sauce. Great manat the front counter every time I?ve ordered. He?s super nice and friendly. Sorry about the late review, but better late thannever.
