R+d Kitchen - Newport Beach

During my recent visit to Orange County, I experienced consistently high-quality food and outstanding service. The menu features a variety of New American dishes, all prepared to perfection every time. I particularly appreciate their team service approach; each server and assistant was warm, friendly, and always attentive. Great job!

This feels like a scene for the idle rich and finance set of Newport. The service is good and knows the regulars which is nice to see. It?s a white tablecloth experience with sort of a dress code (mainly no hats in the dining room) which is also fine. But for all this, the wine list is really uninspired as was the food. With this clientele I would expect a more global and curated wines by the glass. It was all fine.

I always enjoy a consistently high-quality dining experience on Fashion Island. It’s the perfect spot for lunch while shopping, with great seating, a beautiful location, delicious food, and professional staff. The French dip is a must-try, and the Chinese chicken salad is simply spot on!

After waiting for half an hour outside for a table, the hostess informed us that dogs are not allowed, which was surprising since we had our small puppies with us. This is the first time we've encountered such a policy. Typically, restaurants with outdoor seating are accommodating to small, well-behaved dogs. We've decided not to return to this place and would advise dog owners and animal lovers to consider other options.

Are our favorite restaurant downstairs. everything we tried is delicious. that's the only place I've ever eaten a hamburger. the quality of the bark is excellent. it is perfectly boiled and there is a perfect mix of salad, swirling grilled tweepers also) tomato and dressing. they are crispy and thin cut, so they don't feel so guilty of eating them. that adds a beautiful note. we ordered the carrot cake as tasty bites and it was the best of all time. creamy icing and the cake was great. as a supplement were the deviled eggs 3) delicious perfect mix of seasonal and great presentation we sat on the bar and loved her. tiffany was our waitress and she was so warm and knowledgeable with a big smile. it is always busy because of the great experience and eating. try to come in off-time and wait won?t be so long. that's worth it.
