Contribuiți la feedbackEating at this restaurant can be a great experience. However, the staff showed no respect for customer preferences and served dishes that were not ordered. I requested chicken Gyoza but was served something I couldn't eat due to dietary restrictions. The staff was unapologetic and one woman was particularly rude. Their excuse was simply "we have no shrimp," instead of taking responsibility for the mistake. This lack of care for customers could have serious consequences for someone with allergies. I recommend finding a different restaurant where customers are treated with respect.
If you are a fan of smoked meats, Hiro Nori in Irvine or Long Beach may be a good choice for you. I recommend trying their amazing ramen dishes, which are sure to excite your taste buds. However, our experience with the tonkotsu ramen was not as satisfying, as it came with a lackluster broth, minimal toppings, and a hard-boiled egg. Eating ramen out of a to-go container with a plastic spoon felt a bit underwhelming. While Ohana may be better known for their poke or sushi offerings, it doesn't seem to be a favorite among locals. The restaurant closes early, with the staff already dimming the lights and turning off the music before 9 pm. It was slightly disappointing to finish our meal in a lackluster ambiance. I suggest adding hooks in the restroom for convenience. Despite its inviting exterior, our overall experience at Ohana was underwhelming and we are not likely to return for another meal.
The dining experience at this restaurant was not very enjoyable. The portions were small and the staff made me feel rushed by asking if I ate quickly. I received a disapproving look when I finished my California rolls too soon. Overall, the food did not taste fresh and the portions were small.
Ok sushi. reis was dry and hard in some pieces. the part of the rainbow roll is very small and it is $15. the black bells were good.
Nice little place by the beach. Friendly service and yummy poke!
