Il Barone Ristorante - Newport Beach

If this restaurant were located in Newport or Costa Mesa, it would be fully booked every night. If you're craving delicious Italian cuisine, make the drive out here and give it a chance. It's unfortunate that it doesn't attract more visitors because it truly deserves the attention. The gnocchi and cannoli here are on par with the best in NYC.

I hosted my office holiday party at Bar One, and it was truly fantastic. The planning process with Dumetella was seamless, and the service provided by Pepe was impeccable. The Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever had, and every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Even though there was a rainstorm, the restaurant made sure our seating remained dry and comfortable. Thank you, Bar One, for a wonderful lunch party!

The meat sauce didn't fully blend together, but the overall flavor was excellent. The béchamel sauce was a bit too thin for my taste; I prefer it a little thicker, although it did taste good. The service was exceptional. However, I feel that the pricing is higher than the value received.

Wonderful vibes and great food. I had left my wallet back in the summer and the staff went out of their way to return it to me. Excited to go back to try more items from their beautiful menu.

We stumbled upon this Italian gem on a short business trip last year and had such a great experience we made it a point to come back again this year while on business . From the moment we are greeted we felt like family. This is a family owned and operated restaurant and to our surprise their team remembered who we were and where we sat when visiting last year! Not only is the food incredible , the customer service and hospitality supersedes all expectations. It’s rare to find restaurants that are able to deliver quality delicious cuisine and craft cocktails while also building relationships with their patrons that leaves lasting appreciated connections! We will always try to visit this Italian family any chance possible. GRAZIE!
