Wolf Tree Brewery Taproom - Newport

I had a fantastic experience with 5-star service at this restaurant. They surprisingly offer a great selection of guest taps, including Russian River. I really enjoyed their Ipa beer, although I found the wild ale raspberry to be more on the vinegar side than sour, which wasn't to my liking. I wasn't a fan of the prickly pear either. It felt a bit early for the spruce tip beers, which I know are excellent. The food was decent, and the atmosphere was lovely. Overall, a great place to visit!

**Our First Visit** Wolf Tree Brewery and Cafe is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. During our visit, we enjoyed The Wild Margarita and the Tropical Cosmic Crisp cider on tap. The Margarita is complemented by a Wolf Tree Brute Squad Wild Ale, adding a unique sour twist. All the drinks were excellent and quite distinctive. We also sampled the vegetarian taco plate, which featured three outstanding tacos. This hidden gem of a taproom is definitely worth a visit. As you would expect from an Oregon taproom, they offer an extensive selection of brews.

Wolf Tree Brewing served as both the starting and finishing point for a cycling event my husband participated in, and it was a fantastic choice! Our server, Earl, was exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, polite, and incredibly patient, which really enhanced our experience. We asked him to choose our beer flight, noting that we're not big fans of IPAs, so he avoided those. Every beer he picked was a hit! Out of the five, we both agreed that the *St. Misbehavin was our favorite. It had delightful hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, making for a wonderfully rich treat. Earl mentioned it reminded him of a cookie, and while I see his point, to me, it tasted like Christmas in a glass. Mr. Wonderful ordered a burger, coleslaw, and a generous bowl of steamed mussels, savoring every bite. We also shared an incredible beet salad. I opted for the sweet potato tacos, which were absolutely divine—please send me the recipe! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and can’t wait to return next year! Great job, everyone!

Super casual and fun environment. This is a local sweet spot that has good food, brews and is family friendly. Right next to the dog park so it's easy to bring Fido and enjoy a beer and a meal.

I had a very disappointing visit. Miniscule, poorly prepared Tapas and poor service. $35 got us two soft drinks and Tapas, tiny bacon wrapped dates and seared ahi that seemed maybe like other tuna but was just nasty in addition to being very small. When you pay with a card the lowest tip option is 20% and it goes up from there. Insult to injury. I didn 't eat the food but paid anyway which didn 't concern anybody. Others are having a better experience?
