Contribuiți la feedback"a hole in a wall" type of space. we have stopped there for lunch (decided at takeout.) the menu is quite large and offers many different options. I had dee confit sandwich with suppe sandwich was not bad, but underwhelming in terms of taste (and size) the scratch reuben sandwich my wife was delicious, good taste. caesar salat was also good (standard.) good place, but I expect a long waiting period in the season, as the restaurant is very small.
This was a refreshing change to a bunch of boring, repeated menus we saw in the area. Downstairs could be a pretty small indoor area to eat. Menu elements could be too unknown for someone who has a really standard American breakfast (which I am biased against). All items seemed homemade what we had been looking for for the whole trip. One of the few places that served drinks in cups, instead of going containers. We haven't waited for food long. I remember that the menu is hard on meat and eggs, and perhaps not the ideal place for a vegan or someone who concentrates dishes on vegetables. Corned beef hash was good, breakfast sandwiches were good, some interesting potato cube things were good; like a better perpetrator type with a noticeable herbal flavor. Go here for something interesting that the usual breakfast places. The prices were also reasonable from what I remember.
The service was good, but waffle with fried chicken was too sweet had sugar on the whole sandwich and no maple syrup, that was a bad kitchen, but the Pesto mushroom sandwich was amazing -5/5.
Scratch kitchen was great! You accompanied our wedding dinner. The food was excellent, high quality and affordable. Especially the Cabernet Braised Short Ribs were so delicious. The staff was nice, helpful and flexible. Stef was easy to coordinate!
Had the Steak American Grill cheese sandwich. Her Mac Cheese everything was amazing too! Service was also great.
