Fox And Hounds - Newport

What a fantastic and unexpected delight! We stopped by on our way home from vacation, and I might just have to take the same route again whenever we're near Gatlinburg. At first, we were a bit skeptical as we drove past a trailer park, but don’t let the unassuming exterior fool you—this place is a gem. Our waitress, Brittany, was incredibly sweet and even shared some of the restaurant's history with us. I ordered the Burgasteak, which was delicious, and the side of potatoes was wonderfully aromatic with herbs. My son had the kids' steak bites, and I was thrilled to find that the mac and cheese was of high quality, not just filling. I can't recommend the French onion soup enough; it might be the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich, which was huge—in a good way! The loaded fries were also a hit. Do yourself a favor and stop by. The decor is charming and spotless as well. I wish I could give them more than five stars!

The food was quite affordable and possibly the best we've had during our weeks-long stay in the area. Great job! Highly recommended!

Our first visit to this really cool place. Definitely will not be our last. we sat in the dinning area unconsciously they also have a really big bar area. The staff was very friendly. The food was amazingly very large portions. all a great place

Such a great experience? after a long hot day in the? Great service? Delicious food. We had the weekday special that included chopped steak? steamed broccoli? Mac n cheese? Sweet atmosphere not expected from outside. Thank you. We'll be back when we're in the area.

I had a fantastic experience at Fox and Hounds Restaurant. Don't be misled by the exterior if you're visiting from elsewhere. Once I stepped inside, I was greeted by a beautifully decorated and cozy atmosphere. The food was outstanding, and the staff were friendly and attentive to the guests. This place truly is a hidden gem. It's definitely worth a visit for a meal.
