Food only average. There is better bbq in the area. Would not ever suggest anyone eats there. There is Moores 10 minutes down the road toward Morehead City.

We ate at Fat Fellas on Good Friday the food was delicious. Good portions, great service friendly staff we checked out the Fat Fellas store and we were drooling looking at all the desserts. we were too full from dinner so didn’t buy any but we’re very tempted Highly recommended ??

This place is off the charts. Excellent food at a good price. Fast service from great servers. Love the decor! If you leave here hungry it is your own fault. Don't forget to check out the Fat Baby store and get some sweets to take home.

We had been to the old location on several occasions and loved it. Today we came for breakfast and we're so disappointed. There was at least a 45 minute wait for our food to come to the table. It's understandable with the times today, Covid and low staffing, for service to be a little on the slow side but our food came to our table cold and the hashbrowns were so hard they'd break your teeth trying to eat them. I would like to give this place another chance because I know they can do better but it's going to be a while.
