China Star Iii - Newport

The food here is excellent, and the prices are reasonable, making it definitely one of the top three options on Aquidneck Island. Personally, I believe it's the best, but not all Chinese restaurants offer the same experience. Ming Moon and China Star 2 are also great choices. However, I would steer clear of Ching Tao; I hope they improve in the future.

The only thing worse than the food was the service! Shrimp fried rice was greasy. Egg roll was mediocre. Had to beg for the check. Avoid at all costs.

Wonderful Chinese food. The moo shu is fabulous as are the stir fried Udon noodles and wings. You can’t beat the price also!!!

I ordered takeout, and the service was incredibly quick. The General Tao's Tofu is among the best I've ever tried, and I really appreciate that they offer vegan options.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The egg rolls were soggy, and the sweet and sour chicken was undercooked in the center with an unpleasant sauce. The General Tso's chicken was equally bad, as the sauce had an odd flavor. My wife and I took just two bites of each dish before deciding to throw everything away. I really wish I could get a refund for this meal. I certainly won't be coming back.
