Gods Providence House - Newport

I absolutely adore this place! It's charming, welcoming, and the food is fantastic. Whenever we're in town, we make sure to stop by. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. It truly embodies the essence of a traditional English tearoom.

Absolutely excellent premises and excellent food and wonderful friendly staff, what more can you ask for, 5 stars don't come anywhere near close enough.

This is a wonderful spot for breakfast with a variety of delicious scones, cakes, and other tasty treats. It is located right in the heart of Newport.

We had a great Sunday afternoon meal at God's Providence House and decided to return the following day. However, it was a big mistake. While our meal on Sunday was exceptional, unfortunately, the experience on Monday was not the same. The decor and cleanliness of the cafe were consistent on both days, but the attitude of the waitresses was markedly different. On Sunday, they were friendly and helpful despite being busy, but on Monday they seemed unhelpful and disinterested. It was disappointing as Sunday had been so pleasant. Overall, it is an interesting place to visit.
