We had a tea and coffee there as we had already eaten but they have a lovely food menu there too. Unfortunately the menu can't be downloaded on this site because the photo is too large!
Sam Smith's pubs are old fashioned and full of character and normally very cheap. This one is the dearest pub in the area a glass of wine and a pint of bitter was £4 dearer than anywhere else in the area, probably the reason why it was half empty. Attitude of staff when questioned about the cost was poor to say the least, drank up quick and left and won't be going back.
Love this pub Rob and his staff are fantastic, these guys know how to pull a pint. Food is lovely and there is always a good atmosphere, no TV no music great pub to meet friends
Quick stop before running for the train for food and it was surprisingly good. One ordered a burger, the other a sausage and mash. Recommend trying it.
Excellent ale friendly landlord a very special atmosphere. Go back in time sup your ale read the paper no hassle.
