Vic North Cafe Classes - Newport

One of the few places in Newport which disappointed. Food was average, as was the service. Nice salt!

Really great place. Friendly, relaxed, excellent simple dishes but well executed. Highly recommended

Fish and Fizz on Thursdays. Very tasty dishes and attentive staff.

Had the Thursday menu (see pic). Found it to be overpriced considering... Only 3 scallops. Pancetta not cooked properly making it not pleasant to eat. Herb crusted haddock tasted pre-made. Veg of mange tout and green beans wouldn 't be my first choice. Fizz was a cheap carver.

Absolutely delicious lunch. Hake and fennel, Newport bay crab cakes, hamburger, all first rate and made with love. Friendly service too. An antidote to some of the awful rubbish served up along he Pembrokeshire coastal path.
