The Star Inn - Newport

Many thanks for a beautiful Sunday dinner, nothing could owe. eat hot and well cooked. we had 3 courses and everything was great. many meats and varied vege, fast service by courteous smiles staff.

What do you want me to say? “**** nice” the prawn cocktail and pate was beautiful. we had all, bark and lamb. it is simply melted in the mouth. there were many Veg selections to choose from! my son was very happy as they had cauliflower cheese and fresh homemade yorkshire puddings. Unfortunately we were too crowded to try the desserts. they looked beautiful! can't wait to go back!

Called in on a very snowy day, to enjoy our second meal in a week, the previous Saturday, we were a party of 15, both adults and children, who enjoyed a great meal during a very busy Six Nations Day), it was described as a limited menu, due to the weather, but still had at least half a dozen choices. The food was hot, fresh and really tasty, and the service was equally as excellent as it had been the previous week we look forward to next time

This is the best carvery I've ever had! A big shoutout to David, Louisa, and the talented Chef Tim—great job, everyone!
