Sen Bbq - Newport

The best kebab we've had on this side of the bridge! Coming from Bristol and Manchester, we've been missing good food and have struggled to find decent kebabs anywhere. Finally, that all changed! We tried the mixed special in a wrap with chips and it was absolutely delicious. The food was prepared quickly. It's a bit on the pricey side, but we'll definitely be back for the amazing taste.

I had to call and ask about the whereabouts of my order because it was 1 hour and 20 minutes late. The man who answered was rude and simply told me that my order was on its way before hanging up. When I received my chicken shish and mixed shish wrap, I found them to be tasteless with very little chicken, which was disappointing. The chicken wrap was especially bad as it was so drenched in sauce that it fell apart and was impossible to pick up. When I called to request a refund, the same rude man argued with me and said I could only get a refund if the food had not been eaten. I explained that we had already eaten some of it, but how can you know if the food is inedible and tasteless without trying it? I highly recommend avoiding this takeaway at all costs.

I typically like the food at this restaurant. I specifically requested for my order to be delivered to me and not to my neighbor. Unfortunately, they ended up delivering it to my neighbor instead. I voiced my complaint but they didn't seem to grasp the safety concerns or the simple instruction to deliver the food to the correct person who had ordered and paid for it. The staff's response was rude once again.

Ordered a takeaway for fathers day , the food was really poor, chips were re heated anf my iskender was really poor, burnt meat Very little tomatoe sauce and the yoghurt sauce tasted off. The food is not cheap and i am really dissapointed. My wifes and sons food was poor also.

I have used SEN BBQ dozens upon dozens of times and I have had some really good food but sadly my last two meals have been awful. Both Doner kebabs, the first one went through me like an intercity express train and that lasted for about 12 hours and last night I asked for a medium doner just meat with sauce. I got home and they hadn't listened and had put bread in the box which I cant eat (bread is cheaper to bulk up than meat) and the meat itself was quite simply horrible it was tough as old boots, no flavour and I left over half of it. Really disappointed. I may try them again but there is now far better alternatives close to Wetherspoons in Maindee. Get a grip SEN BBQ its not good enough
