Piazza - Newport

Very obliging staff and tasty food. My favourite is the ham and egg salad with Angelo's coleslaw. Toilet is down stairs so not wheelchair friendly but Friars Walk toilets nearby. A high chair is available for the little ones. Seating also outside for times of sunshine or for the few smokers who have not seen the light! The fridge is full of the most tasty pastries and our favourite is the iced slice shared between us. This is a family owned cafe and it shows in the service which is always brilliant. Busy at times but well worth the wait. Sometimes it is like being in Italy when the owners are chatting to visiting Italians, we love it. P. S. Custard slices had been off the menu due to a supplier problem but now (End November) back on. Yum

Excellent food, great coffee and very friendly service. Biggest challenge is deciding what to order because it all looks so good!

Everything well presented. Great cake selection. Made to feel at home. Spotlessly clean. Good espresso, a dark, Italian style roast. The bar caters for vegetarians. Recommend a visit.
