Having dined at Gemelli's and various other restaurants in Newport, I can confidently say this was the best fine dining experience I've had in South Wales. This was the best culinary experience I've ever had. The dishes were thoughtfully crafted, and you could truly feel the passion the chef put into each course. The presentation was exceptional, and the service was unmatched. I can't recommend it highly enough; I will definitely return and hope I can secure a table because I believe gem42 will quickly become a sought-after dining destination in the near future. The 42 in newport is amazing! eating is from this world. they have to go when they are in the opposite. if they are not in the opposite, they must try to come here. the restaurant is beautiful and tastefully decorated. eating is clever and creatiw presented very entertaining on a series of different plates, bowls and porcelain-length. the staff is excellent and the cook explains every morsel in detail. the whole evening was an incredible and tasty theatre event. highly recommended!
