Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the lack of adherence to the dress code by other diners. We saw people in hoodies, jeans, sneakers, and even baseball hats (some worn backwards). There were strollers, children running around, and even a crying baby - it felt more like Chuck E Cheese than a fine dining establishment. Despite this, the staff, waiter, and food were all excellent. We spoke to the manager, who was understanding and sympathetic to our concerns. We recommend reinforcing the dress code to restore the restaurant's elegance and make it a more appropriate choice for special occasions.
Our server, Melissa, was absolutely fantastic. She provided the best service I have had in a long time. The dining experience was for dinner and the food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 out of 5.
The steak was excellent, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the lobster was as well. I am used to getting lobsters straight off the boat in Maine, so I wasn't expecting much from the lobster in Connecticut. However, I was impressed by its taste. The service was good and I had a pleasant dining experience. The price per person for dinner was in the range of $50–100.
