Contribuiți la feedbackI dined at this restaurant in July 2017 and ordered a mixed shish. It was decent, with prices ranging from average to high. The food was fairly tasty. The chips weren't great, but this restaurant isn't specifically a chip shop so it's understandable. The kebab was okay, and the service was just average.
I recently had a quick takeaway from this restaurant and the Lamacun (Turkish Pizza) was amazing! With lettuce, onion, and both sauces, it was really delicious. A friend had the Halloumi wrap, which was also very tasty. Make sure to try the Turkish Tea as well. Overall, I will definitely be returning. It's a trip worth making!
I went to Nur Grill for lunch a few weeks ago. I had high expectations of the place but was disappointed. We ordered Lahmacun (Turkish Pizza). It wasn't that good but it wasn't that bad either. The main course that I ordered was Chicken Kofte. The accompanying rice was good but the kofte themselves were not very appetising. They tasted a bit dry. On their menu they had 5 different kinds of tea available Turkish tea, Cinnamon tea, Lemon tea etc) but when we ordered one we were told they were out of all of them except plain green tea. If they did not have any of those teas available they should have made a note in the menu informing the customer that they were out of stock or whatever. All in all considering the one starter (Lahmacun) and two main courses the food was pretty average. The only thing worth mentioning is that the service was very good (the hostess was very helpful and friendly) and the food arrived in good time. Might visit again for a snack but not for another meal.
This is a small resturant that seats around 40 people, the food is grilled in an open BBQ in front of your eyes. I eat here very regually with friends family the food tastes great and is good value for money. The salad is absolutly fantastic ! The staff are friendly helpful you get complimaentary bread and salads, also turkish tea at the end of the meal ! even 2 cups ! for free. Yes there are better turkish resurtreants if you traval to north london but this is the best place in East London. The shop and decor are average but clean if your looking for a posh fancy place this is not it, however, if your after a good turkish meal on a budget its perfect. I even once met Ronnie o'sullivan in here.
I was recommended by a friend.... a group of us went, enjoyed the experience.. friendly staff...tasty food especially the ribs... good for local dining out.
