The Great Northern Hotel - Newcastle

I came to eat here and to see a band with my man. he took a place in the restaurant with a good view of the band while I grabbed a drink. he was interrogated by a coworker why he sat in the restaurant without watching a meal the live music, he told her that he would order a meal as soon as she rolled her eyes. When I came back, I ordered us to eat. the chicken carving was in order, but the lambs were tiny and over cooked with hardly meat. not to mention price! was not a good experience I would never eat here again.

I love this place I can 't put my finger on it but this hotel has an ambience and a feel like no other ' absolutely nothing negative what so ever from the staff the patrons the crowd a mix of everything day of the week seems to be unleashed here on any given night smiles all round and a feel good vibe makes this place the number one hotel in Newcastle. Get the right night and you are hooked and gutted in the most beautiful way five stars

This is a great place to step back with a drink and chat. relaxing environment. we had a light snack, which was also great. Thank you.

Good selection of well-rated lunches. great service and a selection of drinks. we've been there before and had no trouble over eating.
