Wetherspoons always seems to have good pub food at an affordable price. The only problem is that it can be quite full.

The Five Swan is a cute bar with a patio near Newcastle University and the Civic Centre.

I took my mother, who uses a wheelchair, to the restaurant for Sunday lunch. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoyed our meal.

We had a great evening at this restaurant. There was ample parking available and the staff were helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and of high quality. I particularly enjoyed the fish pie. We opted for the £19.95 special which included 2 courses and a drink, making it a good value for money.
