The Jubilee Sports Grill

The food is good and the staff are very friendly. However, the experience is marred by the behavior of some patrons in the beer garden who allow their dogs to run wild and relieve themselves on other people's belongings without apologizing.

I visited this restaurant after work for a few drinks. When I went to the restroom, I was disappointed to find that there was no toilet paper in either stall and no soap in the dispenser. In light of the current concerns around Covid-19, I feel that this lack of hygiene is unacceptable.

My friend wanted to give this restaurant a 2 or 1 star rating because he was disgusted by the food quality. We went for Sunday lunch and I have to admit it was mediocre. The Rib of Beef I ordered cost £12, but I could have bought two Big Daddy steaks from Aldi for less than £5 each and they would have been much better in taste and value. The cabbage was not seasoned and tasted bland. The only positive was the Lime Soda I enjoyed. However, I don't want to criticize a business that is struggling with COVID. It's a pub, so what do you expect? It seems like the drinks are the highlight here. I would recommend going there for drinks rather than food. I'll give it a 3 star rating, even though my friend says 2 stars.

Service took a whole hour to arrive. I understand it’s a Sunday but perhaps if staff had mentioned the delay we could have made a decision if to stay.we queried the delay twice as people after us were being served with a Sunday lunch just like I had ordered . My daughter only wanted a beef sandwich and chips. The young man did apologise and say the sandwich is not something that is on the menu. My reply is why take the order if no buns or bread. Strange. The Sunday lunch is smash and not real potato. Very disappointing. Such a shame as a great location. One hour to wait is not acceptable
