The food has been good on most occasions, you may get a poor meal when the restaurant is busy, but 9 out of 10 times the food was good. I called up for a collection on Monday night really looking forward to some tasty food. I looked at the menu online and chose my usual. When I arrived the restaurant was totally empty. I paid £22.00 for a tomato garlic bread and a Bolognese pizza. At the time I thought it was expensive, but I collected and headed home. When I opened the garlic bread box, it was thick dough not the thin and crispy as it had been in the past, I was gutted as it wasn't to my preference. Then I opened the pizza to find my favorite Bolognese had chilis on it. What a total waste of £22.00, then I realised I had seen the old menu not the new one, £15.00 for a pizza is a bit pricey. Won’t be going back there in a hurry.
We went for a family meal, and was really disappointed with the standard of food and the lack of choices on the menu. The Carbonara was a powdery cheese sauce with soggy pasta, lasagne was bland and had to much cheese on it, daughters tomato pasta was very bland. On the plus side my dad enjoyed his bolognaise and my mother enjoyed her chicken, garlic bread was good. Staff are first class and when my partner was asked if she enjoyed the food because she hadn’t touched her plate they offered to cook her another meal and didn’t charge her for the carbonara. All in all disappointing and don’t think we would go back there again.
We went here for a meal for Valentines day. Service was excellent food was lovely and very big portions. Very good price for food to. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back.
This was really disappointing. Service was good however food very bland. Carbonara was in a watery powdery sauce and seafood pasta was basically tomato pasta with a lump of smoked sliced salmon on top. Won’t be going again, I’d rather go to weatherspoons
We arrived before they were officially open and were cheerfully welcomed in to drink coffee while waiting. The sauce accompanying the Sea bass with king prawns was divine. Another fabulous vist.
