I travel frequently and stay in various hotels around the country. During my stay at the Mal Maison in Newcastle, one of the receptionists suggested I try Gusto, a restaurant nearby that had received high praise for its service and food quality. As someone who often dines alone, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome I received at Gusto. The staff offered me newspapers and magazines to read and were willing to chat with me, which made for a very enjoyable dining experience. The food was excellent and the staff was happy to make recommendations based on my preferences. I highly recommend Gusto to solo diners in Newcastle for its friendly atmosphere and delicious food.

We stayed at the Malmaison Hotel by the river, across from the Baltic Contemporary Gallery. After a wonderful time, we ended our evening at Gusto Restaurant. We were seated at a charming table upstairs, where the atmosphere was lively even for a Sunday night. The meal was delicious, and we indulged in too much food, especially the irresistible ice cream. Dale took great care of us, being very friendly and attentive. He truly enhances the dining experience with his hard work and ability to cater to each guest. I highly recommend a visit to this establishment.
