El Paso Jesmond - Newcastle upon Tyne

I really enjoyed the food here. It was a Friday evening, so the restaurant wasn't too crowded. Having grown up in the USA, I'm a fan of good Mexican cuisine, and this place exceeded my expectations with some unique twists on the dishes. I started with the Latin croquettes, which were incredibly delicious. For my main course, I had the pulled pork tacos, and they were amazing—I ended up eating five! I will definitely be back soon. Thank you, El Paso!

For our main course, we also ordered some tapas, including goat cheese, patatas bravas, and calamari, all of which had us eagerly anticipating our main dishes. I opted for the burrito with pulled beef, which came with an intriguing "Death Sauce" housed in a glass shaped like a skull. The waitress was not only beautiful but also added to our enjoyable experience with her warm and friendly demeanor. I'd give this restaurant more stars if I could; they truly deserve it. I apologize for posting my review two months later, but I hope to provide others a clearer insight into how satisfied I was and encourage them to visit. And please, unlike me—if you enjoy a place, write your review right away! I only took one picture of my food that day, and it’s not great quality. I tend to snap photos and write reviews only when I'm really pleased, and it’s a reminder to do better next time!

I had my first visit tonight and enjoyed a wonderful meal. The food was excellent, the service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. It was also reasonably priced.

Lovely place. Really nice atmosphere and staff are the perfect level of friendliness. Definitely recommend the cloud catcher tea, so much more than a tea, its an event, a ceremony, a moment. The dark chocolate torte as well. My mouth was watering as I was eating it, and it was flanked beautifully by real ice cream. Not stuff crunchy with ice crystals out of the freezer. It was thick and creamy. With sweet sharp red berry sauce. El Paso is amazing.
