Datbar - Newcastle upon Tyne

We originally wanted to go to Pizza Punks, but when we arrived, there was a sign at the door that they ran out of gluten-free bases... so we tried Dat Bar instead and were really impressed by the place. My pizza was incredible, had many toppings and tasted even better than what I expected the gluten-free pizza of my partner was also great. We both would like to return to this place.

Nice food and vegan friendly menu. Large beer selection to choose too much in terms of drinks. Beautiful seating inside and outside, recommend the pizzas (one of them really and rice balls starters. Delicious. Great location also in relation to the center of downtown.

Excellent pizza! The crust is fantastic, and the Italian sausage is just as good as what you'd find in Brooklyn! The location is very central, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. They've done a great job with the recent restaurant renovation. Just take a look at this beautiful cake!

One of the best pizzas in Newcastle, everything done by hand. Proper sourdough base. 10/10. Also a phenomenal selection of local craft beers. A great choice for lunch or dinner for 2’s, small groups or full blown parties or events.
