One20 - Newcastle upon Tyne

The restaurant has been closed for approximately four years. It was okay when it was open.

Honestly, I don't care about The Butterfly Cabinet when Cafe One 20 is right at the end of the street. Why do queue for mediocre and expensive food and drink when you can enjoy a much more personal and tasty culinary experience in One 20?

My previous review has had to be updated due to a change in management. I am genuinely disappointed as everything is not quite as it used to be. I used to visit this restaurant multiple times a week, but now I no longer bother. On the other hand, I still frequent this place regularly and really enjoy it. The breakfasts are huge and even a salad fills me up! I always make sure to grab a slice of cake to take home as well.

I don't understand why this place is closed. It appears that this café is very picky about when it wants to open to the public. For the past two days, we have had to go somewhere else because they either don't open on time or don't open at all. This is not a good way to operate a business.

Think the new owners are starting to get a grip now. Always friendly. Menu could do with an update.
