Cafe Corsaro - Newcastle upon Tyne

I have visited this restaurant for all meals - breakfast, lunch, and dinner - and thoroughly enjoyed each experience! The atmosphere is friendly and lovely, and the food is excellent - authentic Italian cuisine. It is definitely our favorite spot on the High Street by far!

We stopped by near closing time and were pleasantly surprised by a delicious and light vegetarian pizza, along with coffee and cakes. The service was top-notch and very friendly, and the food was excellent. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Oh, what a charming Italian coffee shop cafe! The food is excellent, the atmosphere is delightful, and it's always bustling. Whether people are stopping in for a quick pick-up order or sitting down to enjoy a meal, the experience is a pleasant one. The wine selection is also wonderful. This place is truly a hidden gem, with friendly staff and beautifully fresh food.

Lovely small authentic Italian cafe in the centre of Gosforth. Nice choice of reasonably priced pasta, pizza and sandwich choices with a few sweet treats too. Licensed. Had a mix of lentil soup, tuna and tomato toastie, piccante panini, apple tart and a coconut and pistachio pastry. Plus drinks. Nice people running it too.

It is very hard to find a cafe experience which really has everything. This place has the decoration, the atmosphere, the quality authentic food, great price, excellent customer service and great purchases. The food is very authentic Italian food for very good prices. I had the spicy sausage potato gnocchi and caprese salad, flavour, presentation and taste was delicious. I also had the pistachio cheesecake. I was greeted with a very warm welcome by a lovely gentleman from Sardinia and Rosa the owner was also very friendly. They are clearly a staple in the community. Honestly the decor is wonderful, the music is very nice, you can purchase some authentic Italian snacks/oils/wine to take home. They are also doing takeaway during lockdown. This is my new favourite cafe in Newcastle. It could easily fit well in central London where I am from and be miles better than many places there. They just have it all. Rare find and really happy to have come across it. Don't hesitate to pop in. Thank you
