Bygones - NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME

First visited keele. this beautiful little tea room in style of the 1950s. revered to the high ceilings and collection of 1950s memorabilies. the music fits perfectly to the environment. we had the afternoon tea that was delicious. the cake was so delicious I bought to take extra home. wonderful selection of freshly baked cakes. service was also excellent. the staff was very friendly and helpful

One of the most beautiful teestubes in the environment. I love the decor and the vintage theme that appeals to all age groups. great that the menus under glass are at the table and sanitizer at the door as they go into them have to wait to sit. we have always found eating from a high standard. the choices are excellent (each for all); cakes and scene are delicious and the service from the front of the house staff is brilliant. I would suggest that they make a visit and judge for themselves!

My family and I have been many times in this beautiful tee room before, during and after the pandemic. every visit we have received a warm welcome and amazing eating. the personal is beautiful and the owner is only too happy to share the knowledge about the collection of bygone objects in the facility. when we recently visited, it was very busy and had to wait one for our eating, which we did not think of how we enjoyed the environment and were happy that the tee room had made it through the last few years and remains open in a city where so many companies have closed. please, if you do not visit bygones and look for a light breakfast or lunch give this amazing little place a try

They were here twice before brunch and tied try afternoon tea. went for the £20 per person option and took my cousin. absolutely beautiful afternoon, eating a lot, freshly prepared and drinking a lot of tea. good ratio of hearty and sweet. I can't eat milk chocolate and they were very accommodating, exchanged them for white chocolate. the workers were very attentive and gave us boxing to bring home what we couldn't get to eat. would definitely recommend.
