I would be very sad if this place shut down! my 8 year old My favorite place for those times I don?t feel like cooking. And after a stressful day to grab delicious and great selection of beers on tap! Wish I was into whiskey because they have a giant selection. Never disappointed by the service or the food! Servers are attentive, friendly manager, personable bartenders, modern and clean atmosphere! King County Food Safety Rating: Excellent
Pretty good burgers and customer service. We had the Mushroom Swiss burger and onion pedals with sriracha sauce. You order up front and then sit down. Very casual. This location is on the smaller side but located next to a creamery we wanted to try! Safe area, limited parking. Parked on neighborhood street with a short walk to restaurant.
First-time dining in here, sat in the bar. Great service and taste burgers. The sauces are homemade. Hubs liked the BBQ burger and I had the Bacon Blue. We will be back.
Awful experience, mediocre food, poor service, bad management. I don 't usually write negative reviews, but Blazing Onion in Newcastle deserves it. I want to make this clear up front: Our waitress did her best and is NOT to blame for this. I hope if management reads this, they understand. We arrived at about 6:30pm on a weekday and the restaurant was practically empty. The hostess told us to seat ourselves on the patio. Our waitress, Anna, brought us menus and water promptly. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Great. Drinks came out about ten minutes later; a little slow, but not a big deal. Waitress took our order. We ordered an appetizer and entrees. Half an hour went by. At no point were we asked if we 'd like another round of drinks. Our entrees came out... but no appetizer. We asked if it got lost, and were told it would be coming right up. It didn 't show up until we were more than half way done with our dinner. At that point, we said we didn 't want it any more. The burgers were supposed to come with bottomless fries, but they never asked if we wanted more, etc. We finished our entrees and told our server that we totally understood that they were under-staffed etc. but would like to speak to a manager about our experience. She told us they would comp one of our meals. Great. That 'd be cool with us. The Shift Supervisor came out and talked to us. We explained what happened. She told us the best she could do was give us 10% off our entrees. She wouldn 't comp one entrée, as the server had suggested, or our drinks, or anything else. Now, let 's talk about the food. Their $14 French dip sandwich was two plain burger patties with cheese and onions, and some very obviously pre-packaged au jus mix. It was mediocre at best and to be honest, that 's being generous. The only good part of the meal was the fries. If the manager had been apologetic and comp 'ed some of our meal, I would have let it go... but this was awful. We will definitely not go back, and will t
Fabulous Newport spot for lunch and dinner if you like burgers! Stopped in on a Friday night with some buddies and we tried a little of everything. Beer selection, wine list, and cocktails were all on point. The blazing onion appetizer is worth a try. We each got a different burger and we were all well satisfied. Great bar for watching sports, and the service was super friendly. Not sure why it took us so long to try this place out, but we'll be back for sure! Olympic Otter
