On a positive note, the servers were very friendly, as they have been in the past, and the real crab California roll was excellent. If you’re reading this review, I still recommend you give the place a try, but perhaps opt to dine in rather than takeout so you can address any issues directly with the staff. Given the many positive reviews, maybe we just had an off night.

We used to visit this restaurant frequently, but then we started going to Sushi Roll Roll Roll, which is slightly cheaper and also quite good. We decided to return to Aji, and I wish we hadn't. First of all, it's significantly more expensive and the food isn't any better. Additionally, I called over an hour in advance to pick up my order, and they assured me it would be ready on time. However, it wasn't, and I ended up waiting nearly 20 minutes for my order. It was really frustrating.
