Kfc - Newbury

As a vegetarian, one of the things I’ve missed the most about meat is the crispy coating from KFC. I recently tried their vegan burger and was quite excited about it. While it was slightly dry, I have to say that even regular meat burgers can be lacking in moisture. I also wish there had been a bit more lettuce, but overall, I truly appreciate the effort put into the vegan burger. It may sound strange for a vegetarian to crave KFC, but I’m thrilled that they now offer meat-free options. I would highly recommend it! For anyone who avoids ground meat not because of taste but for dietary reasons, I think it’s definitely worth a try. I'm really looking forward to the day when vegan nuggets hit the British stores!

Update: August 15, Sunday, 12 noon - I hope the only girl working there won’t be harassed by the delivery drivers. She was busy preparing food and orders, but there was an awkward moment when she was seen with another young guy who seemed to be the only one around. A big bearded guy was ignoring customers and making the atmosphere uncomfortable. He was not helpful at all. Hopefully, the management is aware and can address this situation!

Every Friday night, I visit this restaurant for our family takeout night, and I consistently receive fantastic service. The staff is always friendly, even after I've had a difficult day.

The Krushem (milkshake) machine has been out of service for several weeks. Additionally, like every KFC I’ve been to, it wasn’t particularly clean. Overall, I would suggest improvements.

I was not pleased to find raw chicken in my meal. It completely ruined my appetite!
