Boswells - Newbury

We visited for our first café dining experience since COVID, and it was fantastic! The tables were clean, and we enjoyed a delicious steak pie with chips and a cappuccino. Thank you, Boswells! Highly recommended!

We visited for a late lunch snack and ordered two cappuccinos, two speck sandwiches, and a bowl of chips. Unfortunately, the coffees were served quite cold, but when we requested a replacement, the staff took care of it quickly and politely. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, fair prices, delicious food, and a charming atmosphere.

First time I’d visited Boswells and what a pleasant experience! I’d made the most of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme and I didn’t have my dog with me as I would usually, so Boswells was a good option. The team were very friendly and the food was delicious possibly too much chicken to salad ratio if that’s even a thing!!

This restaurant always serves wholesome and tasty fare, in a pleasant suroundings.

It was our first visit to Boswells, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The food was nicely presented, and the coffee exceeded my expectations. The tables and chairs were well-spaced, which made for a comfortable dining environment. We both enjoyed our meals; my partner particularly liked the well-cooked sausages. The staff were friendly and attentive. My only complaint would be about the cutlery, as it could have been cleaner.
