Colby Farm - Newbury

I love coming to this adorable little farm, they have a small grocery store full of locally raised meats and produce. At the end of summer, in late August and early September, they open up their sunflower fields up to the public and it is so fun to come with friends and family. Great place to enjoy some beautiful flowers and get some unique photos! It does cost $10 to park, and worth it in my opinion.

Great selection but the parking lot is built for only able bodied humans with no children. I have two children and it's ridiculous trying to get the stroller to the store. As a mother it was extremely frustrating

100 percent increase in parking fees. Now $20! What a joke. JR can shove a sunflower up his ass.

Just tried to visit the sunflower field today with my husband and 2 month old. Drove an hour to arrive. There was a sign stating the sunflower field was closed, so I went insode the farmstand to inquire. I was met by an extremely rude woman kicking people out due to social distancing. I told her I just had a quick question she immediately cut me off and said sunflower field is closed BYE and motioned for me to leave. Poor customer service and just all around rude.

Absolutely love coming here. I've been coming here before it was an internet sensation, circa 2005, and I was alone on the field. Now I enjoy bringing my daughter and taking pictures. The parking rate increased from $5 per car to $10 this year. But several noticeable changes made. To get to the field of flowers there was a mud patch last year just covered with cardboard. This year a bridge was built, more portable potty's, tractors on display to take pictures with and more staff. We purchased corn from the farm stand to bring to a dinner party that was delicious. I've loved Colby Farm for years and am very happy I can share the experience with my family now.
