Vesuvio's - Newburgh

We arrived a bit early, before the dinner rush. By the time we left at 6:30, the restaurant was completely packed, even on a Thursday night. I can see why it's so popular! The food was delicious and abundant, the service was excellent and attentive, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.

My drink arrived first, and it was not only delicious but also strong. I don't know how they achieved that, but one was all I needed to feel good! Then the mozzarella frites came out, and they were perfect: extra cheesy, and you could tell they used high-quality cheese. I ordered a steak that came with a side of penne, and both dishes were not only visually appealing but also incredibly satisfying. I decided to indulge in dessert, and I was not disappointed! The lava cake was everything you could hope for. Overall, I was very pleased and would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

The food was delicious, and the staff were very pleasant during our birthday celebration dinner. However, some family members felt a bit rushed, as the servers started clearing plates while they were still eating. I ended up having to apologize on behalf of the restaurant, which was embarrassing for me, especially since it was my birthday a few weeks ago. Moving forward, I think we will opt for takeout instead. This is the first time we've encountered such an issue. I understand that restaurants need to turn tables quickly, but we were only there for about an hour. I really dislike feeling rushed as a regular paying customer. While I know this can happen occasionally, when my family members don't feel welcome, it puts me in a tough spot when it comes to giving positive feedback. I will reconsider my rating once I see improvements.

I am not one to review places, i just eat and leave. I normally leave reviews to my wife but felt strongly enough to do this: The food was excellent, the portions were large, and the staff was very pleasant, professional and always available to us.The dress code was a little better than casual so we were able to walk in off the street. We did not make a reservation yet wewere seated immediately by a friendly greeter. Thank you Vesuvios, we will see you soon!

Came here last night for our Anniversary. I ordered the stuffed sole. It came out cool, not cold, but I chalked it up to it being finished prior to the other 5 people in our party. I figured I 'd heat it up and have it for lunch today. I was verydisappointed. There were so many scales in the stuffing...more then just a bite here and there, it was loaded with them. Ialso got mashed potatoes and they were very bland. I didn 't say anything to the waitress, as she was super nice, and I didn 'twant to ruin the celebration we were having. I was also a little disappointed that the one girl cleaning the tables, keptcoming over to see if my friend was done with her dinner, even though she was she eating. The restaurant was not packed and itwas like 7ish on a Sunday. It won 't stop us from coming back, but I will not be ordering the fish again. I was just overallbummed, because I was so excited to come and enjoy a great meal, and I was a little let down. I 'm hoping it was just an 'off 'night.
