Sat for over 45 minutes waiting on “Just a sandwich and a drink refill. Can’t rate the food still haven’t been served! The food finally arrived (55) minutes after the order was placed. The food was great, but the service has a lot to work on. It took about 20 minutes to find anyone for us to pay. Went here with a group of friends, took forever to get our food, refills on drinks were not only seldom but done incorrectly my burger was charred, and was incorrect. Smothered chicken was good but not worth the price. Onion rings were very greasy. The atmosphere was fine but the place is a hole in the wall at the most, but the food doesn’t live up to the reputation. This is definitely a local hangout spot. The furniture is very uncomfy as well. The redeeming quality was the chocolate pound cake! Absolutely 10/10 Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

The food here is consistently good. The country fried steak is the BEST! Service is good each time.
