Dave's New York Deli - Newberry

Long wait. Incapable of fulfilling orders in time. Perhaps today you have had an unsatisfied customer, I did not request a refund. I called and was put in control, couldn't call in order. The line to place the order in person was long. The preparation of the sandwich lasted more than 20 minutes.

Favorite New York Style Deli! Empress roles are fresh and wonderful.

It was my first time to eat here. The young lady who helped me was very helpful and polite. I had the NY Style Reuben and it wasn't disappointed. The best I've had since my last trip to NY.

The gyro was decent, could have used some more meat. The ice cream was soft serve and good. The fries were so so, smelled great in there and looked just like a New York Deli with boxes everywhere. Super friendly staff even though it took a little bit longer than expected due to a fryer issue. Has a couple tables inside and outside too.

This place is the real deal. Hot pastrami was true NY style down the untoasted rye and stryofoam plate. The smell in the restaurant is like walking through the gates of heaven. Nice folks. Food is awesome. Unique restaurant for Gainesville and a real treat.
