Catfish was excellent! I want more, good potato salad pass on the mac cheese. the pasta was over cooked

Visit from florida found this place on google. excellent service, excellent after home feel good eating. we enjoyed the atmosphere and mrs. barb our watress. she was warm, friendly and made our visit. we have to meet the owner and she was wonderful. that will be our stop when we are in newark nj

We came from L.I and it was worth the trip. we had several dishes and sides, everything was delicious. the service was welcoming, friendly and professional. beautiful place on a quiet block. they have to garnish and get the grotten.

We were looking for a black breakfast restaurant and I am so glad we found this jewel! we had the garnel and grits that were amazing (although not a pick) the consistency was on the point and the jumbo garnels were tailored and spiced to perfection. also the fish (whiting) and pour with iron and homeowners were perfect. the fish was well seasoned and delicious, the home owners were delicious, the eggs were perfectly cooked. also the blueberry as well as the strawberry limonade were delicious (if they like sweet drinks). it was worth the 40-minute drive from our hotel. we had hoped to return to the city today, but unfortunately they are not open on Tuesday. we will definitely return when in nj.
