The chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp rolls came out fresh and hot! The dipping sauce had a nice tang to it. The mac and cheese was also excellent. My partner found the fresh fruit drinks a bit on the unsweetened side, but I thought they were just right. I didn't have a chance to try the baked goods, so I can't comment on those. However, the sweet potatoes were delicious and both my son and I enjoyed them. They do come with the skins on, but they can be easily removed if you prefer. The only downside to our visit was the location. Perhaps it was because it was the weekend or because I found it on Instagram, but I was surprised to find it in an office building on the second floor.

This place offers great food and a comfortable atmosphere. Everything is delicious and it’s conveniently located on the way to the Prudential Center, or you can access it via Newark Avenue. The prices are very reasonable, making it a must-try!

**Location/Ambiance: ★★★★★** I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while heading back to the airport, which was conveniently close to my hotel, the Hilton Penn Station. What a delightful find! The atmosphere quickly exceeded my expectations, and the food was incredibly delicious. I'm so glad I took the plunge to check out the menu; it made all the difference! My meal was absolutely divine. As shown in the photo, I ordered jerk chicken, sweet potatoes, and green beans. Every bite was a mouthwatering experience bursting with flavor! If you're a fan of authentic Southern comfort food, this is definitely the place for you. One thing that caught my eye was the impressive selection of hot dishes, including buns, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, and several other tempting sides. They also feature a display case filled with baked goods that had me contemplating dessert before I even finished my meal. I ordered a bowl along with a refreshing mango-lime drink, perfectly balancing sweet and tart flavors that quenched my thirst wonderfully. The service was outstanding, with the staff being genuinely attentive, and the owner even stopped by to chat with us at our table, which added a personal touch to the experience. The ambiance was inviting and relaxing, complemented by soft jazz music playing in the background. This place truly made an impression on me, and I can’t wait to return. As soon as I went in, I was greeted by the friendly cash that suggested that I ordered the fried huh and mac and cheese and she warns wrong it was very good. there was a decent amount of seating and the place as a whole was very clean I would go back definitiw

Visiting with my family and stumbled upon this place hidden in a business center. The staff was tremendously friendly and helpful and the food was fresh and delicious.....even on a Friday after the locals had left the city. Excellent Mac n Cheese!!
